Yonatan Vinitsky (b.1980) lives and works in Newcastle upon Tyne. Yonatan works across many mediums from painting to photography and publication to sculpture, always seeking to develop new techniques. His practice is rooted in a reproduction of found ‘things’ of every kind, translating the originals with acute focus on the specificity of materials and techniques in order to point back to those choices as cruxes of the resulting works.  He has been included in numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, and produces design objects and gifts with his children under the name The Workshop of Matt Montini.
