Jesse Wine (b. 1983, Chester) lives and works in Brooklyn, New York and is known for his work in ceramics. Working with chance processes and unexpected detours in the making of his work, Jesse's practice is rooted in a curiosity in materials and how they inform our everyday lives. He has exhibited in galleries and museums internationally and was the recipient of the Camden Arts Ceramics Fellowship in 2013–2014. Recent exhibitions include: Both, The Modern Institute, Glasgow; The Players, Simone Subal Gallery, New York; Imperfect List, Sculpture Center, New York; Wonderful Audience Member, Soy Capitán, Berlin; and Young man red, Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead.
