XTRALIFE is available on the occasion of Seb Trend's solo exhibition XTRALIFE at the Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art, Sunderland.

Seb Trend (b.1986, Helsinki) is an artist based in Gateshead. He treats painting like alchemy; liquifying and manipulating images, and moving photographic emulsion around like paint. His work concerns states of the 'in-between': molten and solid, representation and abstraction, and the permanent and momentary. Seb graduated from Northumbria University, and has exhibited recently at 36 Lime St, Slugtown and BALTIC39.
