Rebecca Halliwell-Sutton (b.1991, Bolton) lives and works between London and Manchester. Rebecca's work takes the form of sculpture, photography, writing and curating, making use of the transformative properties of materials. Grounded in a feminist critique of land ownership, bodies and desires, a constant thread in her work is an intergenerational connection through time, bodies and place. She recently completed a postgraduate diploma at the Royal Academy of Arts, and has won the prestigious Woon Prize. Her work has been exhibited extensively, including at Union Pacific, London; Contemporary Sculpture Fulmer and Castlefield Gallery, Manchester.
