Tom Sewell (b. 1983, Kent) lives and works in London. Tom's work exists across sculpture, drawing, installation, print, performance, photography and writing. He uses research into (pre)history, mythology, archaeology, language, landscape and life to offer ideas of a space that can be used to transit the porous border between nature and culture. Tom has recently undertaken residencies at UVA Programme, Nizza Monferatto, Italy and the Scottish Sculpture Workshop. His work is held in the collection of UAL, London, and he has exhibited widely including being shortlisted for the Jerwood Drawing Prize.
