Phil Frankland (b.1991, Isle of Man) lives and works in London.   His practice incorporates painting, drawing, printmaking, textiles and clay, in an ongoing experiment to push the boundaries of what painting can be.  Through painting, personal narratives and visual histories can be constantly dug up, questioned, agonised over, copied, and regurgitatedPhil has been nominated for the KOMASK Art Prize, and Horlait Dapsens Prize in Belgium, and his work is held in private collections internationally.
